We all know clothing can be bloody expensive, and usually if it’s cheap it’s for a very good reason. So, in the face of endless financial woes, innovation is the name of the game. Dresses can mask as a skirt with an oversized shirt and a button down dress can become a lose trench coat, which is what I did with this dress in a previous post.
My mom has always preached the Cost Wear Factor doctrine – while a piece may be expensive, if you wear it enough the cost of your wear is worth it. A way to achieve A plus Cost Wear Factor is to wear your pieces in more than one way and that doesn’t mean a different colour pair of jeans. Get creative, kids.
