This blog is often a testament of my patience. Whether it be forgoing a whole blog post as the pictures didn’t turn out as imagined or, like in this case, your camera went a bit nuts and your images are tiny. And I mean tiny. Patience tested. One’s mood always has a major effect on their level of patience. I was either going to throw my laptop against the wall or breath deeply a few times and make a time to redo the post. I chose the later, not because I was in a particularly joyful mood but because I don’t have that kind of money.
As the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. When my sister and I drove to the same location a few days later to redo the post, we found a massive van delivering goodies in the exact spot we took the images. Instead of succumbing to my inevitable fate that this post was simply not meant to be, I looked for a new spot and the pictures ended up looking far better than before.
But now I have to get back to packing for a week in the Drakensburg – stuffing four jackets into my suitcase in the hopes that I will be seeing some snow. Judging the icy weather in Joburg as of late, it’s not so far-fetched to hope for a bit of a Frozen landscape. Bye, off to pack and bye snacks for the car ride.
